CSS is a long-term trusted partner to major electronics manufacturers, from collaborating in product development and prototyping through high- and low-volume manufacturing. Our history goes back to our early development of a design for stamped D-shells that are still used in computer connectors. Today our major customers include General Electric, Sensata, Westinghouse, Veeder-Root, Tyco, Eaton, Molex, Cutler Hammer, and Parker Hannifin. We know how to achieve the results they have come to expect simply because we understand their businesses and industries. Our consultative nature helps to build even stronger and enduring relationships.
We manufacture and assemble stampings and springs that are used in circuit breakers, sensors, controls and computer connectors, including pressure release valves, spring regulators, plunger return springs, as well as wire forms, clutch springs, and actuator and backup rings. One recent key project involved an innovative circuit breaker application, designed for areas where space is at a premium and the need to upgrade electrical systems is critical. CSS consulted on the wire sizes, loads and spring designs, and then provided prototypes and engineering samples on a fast-track basis to meet the customer's product launch timetable.

Known for our extremely rapid turnaround time capabilities, we also offer parts consignment at customer warehouses to decrease the costs of carrying parts inventory. With CSS' consignment program, parts are manufactured and shipped directly to a customer's warehouse, and the customer is not invoiced until the parts are actually used.
